Cold Day On The Dock

23 March 2004 Stepping out of the cocoon-like confines of the boat this morning at approximately 7:30am (for purposes of showering), I found the outside thermometer reading a heart-stopping 32 degrees. This is California! What have we done to deserve this? And, by the way, that's ICE - not just frost - on the dock in the pictures above. I had to walk pretty slowly to and from the shower (and even the parking lot almost two hours later). Well, so it gets a little cold out here. I still wouldn't trade boat life for anything else - at least for now. |
